Dear Santa

It seems like yesterday when my grandmother would have me sit down at the kitchen table with a new pencil and tablet to write my letter to Santa… the Christmas music would be softly playing in the background and the aroma of fresh biscotti would fill the house.
My letter would always begin by updating Santa on all that was going on in our family for the past year and then end with a wish list. When writing the wish list part of the letter I had to follow two rules that she taught me when writing this very important letter to Santa, one was to ask for something for myself and two things for someone that maybe would not be getting something for Christmas. When the letter was finished she would drive me to the post office and have me put it in the mailbox. About two weeks later just before Christmas I would receive a letter back from the North Pole! That treasured childhood memory has left me with a lifetime of knowing love, kindness, security, hopefulness and compassion.
I hope you continue your family traditions and make new ones if your heart desires to do so, it will not go unnoticed…. Plant the tiny seeds and watch them grow into a love tree ❤

Love, Peace & Friendship ….
Christina
